Gentlemen:
By letter dated February 1,1989, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) submitted a license amendment request for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Units 1 and 2.
The proposed request deletes references to instrument tag numbers from the Technical Specifications and provides other editorial and administrative changes. The NRC Project Manager recently requested CP&L to review the previously submitted Technical Specification pages to ensure the incorporation of recent license amendments and to remove the CP&L tracking number from each Technical Specification page.
The Company has determined that certain proposed Technical Specification pages require updating to incorporate issuance of previous amendments.
Enclosed is a summary of the revisions.necessary, along with the updated proposed-Technical Specification pages.
