3.5 Verify alarm is valid. 1 Depress the affected radiation monitor remote " HORN SILENCE" push button.

2 Ensure radiation monitor is energized.

3 Ensure " ALARM RESET OPERATE CHECK SOURCE" switch is in the "0PERATE" position.

4 Ensure proper alarm setpoints:

RM-Al and RM-A2 per the applicable Release Permit RM-A3. RM-A4. and RM-A5 per the applicable Radiation Monitor Setpoint Log 5 Observe trends on other radiation monitors. if

V IE alarm is NOT valid. 1 Select " ALARM Rr. SET OPERATE THEN determine corrective CHECK SOURCE" to the " ALARM action and GO TO Step 3.23 RESET" position.
