l. The Connission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.123 to Facility Operating

~ License No. DPR-3 for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Rowe). This l

amendment is in response to your application dated October 21,.1988 and as supplemented on November 22, 1988.

This amendment:

1. removes the description of High Pressurizer Water Level in Section 2, Bases, Page B2-4.

2. modifies description of the Main Coolant System High Pressure in Section l- 2, Bases, Page B2-5.

l 3.. removes the High Pressurizer Water Level trip instrumentation from Table l 3.3-1, Page 3/4 3-2.

l 4.- removes the High Pressurizer Water Level trip instrumentation from Table 4.3-1, Page 3/4 3-8.

A copy of our Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's biweekly Federal Register Notice.
