Enclosed please find five copies of the Exercise Report, which evaluates the off-site l
capabilities demonstrated during the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station full-scale plume pathway exercise conducted on October 21,1997.
Based on the evaluation by a team of twenty Federal evaluators, New Jersey State and local emergency response organizations demonstrated the capabilities to implement their radiological emergency response plans and preparedness procedures in the event of a radiological emergency. Therefore, off-site emergency preparedness and plans are adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken to protect the health and safety of the public living in the vicinity of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station in the event of a radiological emergency.
