EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION CHANGES TO TEMPERATURE PROFILE (TAC NO. 69869)

On February P7,1989, the Commission issued Amendment No._68 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-34 for Fort St. Vrain. This amendnent incorporated a Fixed High Temperature Trip Setpoint for'the Steam Line Rupture Detection

-and Isolation System.

In our review of this item, we considered in detail your submittel dated September 29, 1988, describing the changes to the temperature profile for equipment qualification. Hence, we have decided to discontinue our separate efforts to review that submittal under TAC No. 69869.

That TAC No is now closed.

However, Public Service Company of Colorado should continue its efforts to update the equipment binders for equipment in the scope of the equipment qualification program.
