-This refers to-the Enforcement Conference held at the NRC Regional Office
.in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania on March 21, 1989, relating to activities authorized by a general license. The meeting was attended by yourself and Mr. Benjamin Thorp, Mr. Alfred T. DiLascia and members of. the NRC's Region I staff.
It-is our view that this meeting was beneficial and improved your understanding of our concerns regarding the seriousness of the repeated incidence of loss' of. nuclear gauges-identified in our inspections from 1980 to 1989. The subjects' discussed at.this meeting are included in the enclosed Enforcement Conference Report.
NRC Region I analysis of enforcement' considerations for the items discussed at this meeting is continuing.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
