Gentlemen:
Pursuant to Catawba Nuclear. Station Technical Specifications 4.4.5.5.a and 6.9.2, please-find attached the Catawba Unit 2 end of cycle 2 refueling outage steam generator inspection report.-This inservice inspection of steam generators A,.B, C, and D was performed in April 1989. As a result of this inspection, eight tubes were removed from service by plugging with rolled mechanical' plugs.
