This refers to the inspection co..oucted by Mr. H. F. Bundy of this office
during the period August 21-25, 1989, of activities authorized by NRC Operating

Licence DPR-46 for the Cooper Nuclear Station, and to the discussion of our
j
findings with Mr G. R. Horn and other members of your staff at the conclusion
'
of the inspection.
The area examined during the inspection was surveillance procedures and
records. Within this area, the inspection consisted of selective examination
of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnei, and
observations by the inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the
enclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
