PREDECISIONAL ENFORCEMENT CONFERENCE
SUMMARY
CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION (CNS) l This letter confirms the conversation between Ms. M. Birch of your staff and Mr. C. Ogle of the NRC on April 23. 1998, concerning a predecisional enforcement conference requested by us which has been scheduled for May 14.
1998, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The purpose of this conference is to discuss the apparent violations associated with the Unit 2 A-train auxiliary building ventilation surveillance test failures as addressed in Inspection Report 50-413.414/98-03. The location of the conference will be at the Region II office 61 Forsyth Street. S.
W.. Suite 24T20. Atlanta, Georgia. This will be an open meeting as per Section V of the " General Statement of Policy and Procedures for NRC Enforcement Actions." NUREG-1600.
