Docket No. 50-219 Generic Letter 83-28 Pursuant to your correspondence of April 11, 1989, GPUN will provide functional testing of the backup scram valves during each refueling outage.
Modifications, if any, related to the testing will be accomplished in accordance with the Long Range Planning Program.
The April 11, 1989 correspondence requested a response by May 1,1989 in order to meet the staff's scheduled competion date. As discussed with Mr. A. Dromerick, NRC Project Manager, on May 1,1989, this submittal confirms GPUN's commitment to perform the testing described above.
It was agreed GPUN would document this commitment by May 15, 1989.
