W. G. RGers, and S. Stasek of this office on February 3-to April 12, 1989, of
' activities at Fermi 2 authorized by Facility Operating License No. NPF-43 and
to the discussion of our_ findings with Mr. B. Ralph Sylvia at the conclusion of

the inspection.
The inspection examined the licensee's response to railcar door

design deficiencies identified at the Pilgrim Station.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during the
inspection. .Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective

examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and

interviews with personnel.
