Return of the CNS Spent Fuel Contingency Plan (#16).

The last shipment of the CNS Spent Fuel Shipment Campaign was recently completed and marks the end of a project which initially started in 1981. At this time, I would ask that your copy of the Spent- Fuel Contingency Plan be returned-to Nebraska Public Power District for proper disposal. I remind you that the Contingency Plan contains safeguards information and should be returned in the appropriate manner. Return to:

Box 499 1414 15th Street Columbus, NE 68601 A project of this magnitude involving a large number of different agencies from different states could only be successfully completed with the full cooperation of all parties. Such was the case during the past 9 years. This type of cooperation is no doubt a maj or contributing factor which lead to the smooth, relatively incident free completion of our project.

I wculd like to extend to you the appreciation of NPPD for your cooperation during the course of this campaign. Due to the length of the project, there are no doubt persons once involved that are .no longer around for varying reasons, making it impossible to thank them all. Please extend our appreciation to those persons currently involved and to those that may have been, if still present in your organization.
