OPERATIONAL
SUMMARY
JUNE 1989 UNIT 1
. Unit I continued to operate well during June.
It' generated 814,120 MWh of electrical power with a capacity factor of 95.2 percent.
Power had been reduced to 58 percent at the end of May for maintenance on heater drain tank pump 3 motors 3A and 3C. This maintenance was completed on June 2, 1989, and
...the reactor reached 100 percent power'again on June 3, 1989. Unit I was 4
operating at 100 percent power at the end of June.
UNIT 2 Unit 2 continued to operate well during June.
It generated 837,800 MWh of electrical, power with a capacity factor of 97.7 percent.
The power level was-reduced to 80 percent on June-13, 1989 to repair the seal injection H O 2
coupling on condensate demineralized booster pump 2A.
Reactor power level was returned to 100 percent on June 14, 1989 after maintenance was complete.
Unit 2 was operating at 100 percent power at the end of June.
POWER-OPERATED RELIEF VALVES (PORVs) AND SAFETY VALVES
SUMMARY
No PORVs or safety valves'were challenged in June.
OFFSITE DOSE CALCULATION MANUAL (ODCM) CHANGES There were no changes to the ODCM submitted during the month of June.
