-TV Electric has reviewed the CPSES Unit I and 2 control room complex in' order to identify noise' reduction needs to' assure that control room and emergency '

' response personnel r.aintain an efficient' working environment. TU Electric has' determined that carpet'should be installed _ in the following areas of the control room wiplex::-

Inside,the control room " horseshoe" areas, o-The entry hallway leading to the control room "norseshoe",

o ~

The shift supervisor.'s office, and o

The Technical' Support Center.

The 'above. identified areas are all part of. the same' fire area (EO) and are supported by'the same_HVAC systems. The carpet, installed in the above described areas, meets the specifications as discussed in FSAR Section 9.5.1.6.2. - The addition of carpet, as described, will not decrease the ability-to safely shutdown in the event of a fire. Changes to the FSAR and Fire' Protection Report will be provided in a future amendment and Revision,
