Request for Comments on Advanced Notice of Proposed. Rulemaking As requested by Reference 2, the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) has reviewed the ANPR of the above subject. OPPD endorses the NUMARC position concerning the proposed rulemaking.-
It is believed that the proposed rule on this subject is unnecessary. Vigorous enactment of the m quirements listed in NRC Generic Letter 89-02, " Actions to Improve the Detection of Counterfeit and Fraudulently Marked Products", along with increased information sh' ring and joint vendor audits by Nuclear Utilities will achieve the NRC's desired results.
