The-enclosed notice of violation,.is for failure to verify operability of the

engineered safety.. feature. actuation logic automatic test function between the

time when this verification' was made a monthly requirement until this matter'

was. brought to your' attention about eight years later. Although the verifica--

tion;then accomplished showed the feature to be operable,^this matter has

significance because of-your prolonged failure to detect this technical speci-

.fication noncompliance. Please give that consideration particular' attention in'

your. reply to the violation citation.
