ISSUANCE OF. AMENDMENT NO 1150 DPR.36 - itAINE YANKEE ATOMIC POWER STATION (TACNO.71599).

The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.113to Facility Operating License No. DPR.36 for the Maine. Yankee Atomic Power Station. This amendment consists of changes to the Technicai Specifications (TS) in response to your application dated December 28, 1988, and as clarified May 30, 1989.

This amendment modifies the Technical Specifications to reflect the operating limits for the Cycle 11 operation at a power level of 2700 MWt.

A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Commission's next regular bi. weekly Federal Register notice.

2. Accordingly, the license is amended by a change to 2.B.6(a) Maximum Power Level and changes to the Technical Specifications as indicated in the attachment to this license amendment, and paragraph 2.B(6)(b) of Facility ]

Operating License No. DPR.36 is hereby amended to read as follows:  !

l l (a) Maximum Power Level The licensee is authorized to operate the facility ct steady-state reactor core power levels not in excess of 2700 megawatts thermal.

(b) Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications contained in Appendix A, as revised through Amendment No.113, are hereby incorporated in the license. The licensee shall operate the facility in accordance with the Technical Specifications. )

3. This license amendment is effective immediately.
