1 OPERATIONS NARRATIVE Cooper Nuclear Station June 1989 1
The 1989 (EOC12) Refueling and Maintenance Outage continued until 1830 on
. June 7, 1989, when.the generator was synchronized to the grid.
At 0258 on June 18, 1989, the generator was taken off-line to test the overspeed crip circuitry for the turbine. The generator was synchronized back to the grid at 0501 on June 18, 1989.
On June 25, 1989, a scheduled load reduction of 22.6% was made to perform a control rod pattern adjustment.
No scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns, or other significant power reductions were experienced during the month of June. A capacity factor of 33.4% was achieved for the month.
