In Reference (b), New Hampshire Yankee (NHY) cmmitted to reevaluate nearby offsite industrial toxic chenical sources and transportation routes relative to any potential negative effects on control rocm habitability.

This ccmnitment was precipitated by a March 12, 1988, chenical warehouse fire in Seabrook, New Hampshire.

%e results of this reevaluation are documented in the enclosed report entitled "Seabrook Station Offsite Hazardous Chenical Analysis Update".

h e report concludes that the Seabrook Station Final Safety Analysis Report evaluation and conclusion renains valid (i.e., the Control Room is appu.vplately protected fran hazardous chenical releases). %e report also contains an appendix regarding the chenical warehouse fire. W e appendix concludes that under the nost unfavorable meteorological conditions, the canbustion products fran the fire would not have adversely affected the ability of the Control Room operators to perform their duties.
