' awhich you transmitted Revision.19 to the Trojan Nuclear Plant Physical-1SecurityPlan"(PGE1017),.datedMay1979. We,have determined that portions of these. plan:changesareconsistentwith.the'provisionsof.10CFR50.54(p)and sare.therefore acceptable. However, as indicated in the' enclosure, certain "other portions..' decrease plan effectiveness and are therefore inconsistent with the-provisionof50.54(p).. Accordingly, you are to follow your-previously
-approved plantin regard to these items. Resubmit corrected plan pages as 7
necessary to maintain' plan continuity.
cElements;of Revision 19 at the enclosure hereto,!which were found-
< unacceptable, were discussed in detail at Region V by your Corporate Security Manager and members-of the Region V staff following the enforcement conference on May 11,71989. Agreement was reached on how the unacceptable changes could be revised to' bring. Revision 19 into compliance and accord with regulatory
- requirements. and formerly. approved security plan connitments.. It was indicated the ' appropriate changes would be made and submitted as a supplemental plan-revision. Upon receipt of'such revision or' changes, they
~will be reviewed'for acceptability for inclusion into the plan.
j Should you want to pursue changing the securig plan with respect to the -
changes set forth in the enclosure, you should resubmit under the provisions of 10 CFR.50.90.
The enclosure'to this letter contains Safeguards Information which is required i
f to be protected against unauthorized disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
