Generic Letter 83-28, Item 4.5.2 required licensees and applicants, with plants not currently designed to permit on-line testing of the reactor trip system, to justify not making modifications to permit such testing.

By letter dated October 1,1984, you subt.11tted a response to Generic Letter 83-28, Item 4.5.2. In our enclosed safety evaluation, the NRC staff concludes that your response to Item 4.5.2 is acceptable. Therefore, we consider Item 4.5.2 to be complete.
