Month Julv'1989 Following a reactor scram on July 14, 1989, the main steam lines were isolated. 'In response to the resulting pressure increase (to approximately 11050 psig), the control room operators opened safety / relief valve 1B21-F051B.
When reactor pressure had been reduced to approximately 800 psig, valve 1B21-F051B was closed.. Later, when reactor pressure had increased to approximately 1010 psig,- operators opened safety / relief valve 1B21-F041A. When reactor 1
pressure had been reduced to approximately 800 psig, valve 1B21-F041A was l
closed.
