THE HOT WEATHER IS CAUSING HEAT RELATED PROBLEMS AFFECTING PLANT EQUIP-MENT SUCH AS HIGH STATOR TEMPERATURES ON THE CONDENSATE AND FEEDWATERJ l' PUMPS. FLUSHING . THE COOLERS AND CLEANING THE HEAT EXCHANGERS HAS LOW--

ERED THE TEMPERATURES. . ,

ON THE12iST AT 2343 THE UNIT TRIPPED DURING AN INVESTIGATION OF BURNING ODOR EMITTING FROM ? 11 BUS (4KV). THIS BUS SUPPLIES POWER'TO 11 RE-ACTOR COOLING PUMP. ON THE 22ND AT 1902 THE REACTOR WENT CRITICAL AND

.THE GENERATOR WAS PLACED ON LINE AT 2204. THIS ENDED A CONTINUOUS RUN

-OF 246 DAYS.

NO OTHER ITEMS TO REPORT.
