Limerick Generating Station, Unit 1 Response to Request for Additional Information Concerning the 4kV Bus Undervoltage Relay Setpoint Calculations

Dear Sir:

Technical Specifications Change Request (TSCR) 89-03, submitted March 23, 1989, proposed changes to the 4kV bus undervoltage relay setpoints specified in Section 3.8 of the Limerick Generating Station (LGS) Technical Specifications (TS).

During review of this TSCR, the NRC technical reviewer, Peter Kang, requested Philadelphia Electric Company (PECo) to provide the supporting setpoint calculations.

This request was initially made during a conference call on March 29, 1989, between i

Dick Clark, LGS Project Manager, NRC, Peter Kang, Electrical Systems Branch, NRC, and Rod Krich, PECo with PECo support personnel. Amendment 18 of the LGS TS, issued on April 14, 1989, approved TSCR 89-03, and reiterated the request for the setpoint calculation on page three of the Safety Evaluation Report.

The attached calculation is provided to satisfy this request, as originally agreed to in the March 29, 1989 conference call.
