On' September : 14, 1988, Mr.
A.L. Cunningham and McGuire. personnel discussed' our plans to improve ?SC and ' CMC data transmission.
Subsequently, we have enhanced.

our CMC Data. Transmission System : by converting the Datalink format to the Data Transmittal' System format.
By letter dated September ~ 26,.1988-we committed to implement a ~ secondary method of data transmission using IBM PCs-to provide a backup in the event our. primary method fails. Our plans were to have the. backup in place by July 1, 1989; however, due to delays in equipment procurement and installation, the'PC based backup will not be in place'until October 16 1989.
