'On June.13, 1989, Carolina Power &' Light Company (CP&L) met with NRC to discuss IGSCC issues pertaining to the Brunswick Plant, Unit 2.

Also in that meeting, CP&L committed to perform the Unit 1 recirculation system piping replacement during the 1990 Refueling Outage. This letter confirms our.

commitment to. replace the recirculation system inlet risers and safe ends on the Unit 1 during the 1990 Refueling Outage, currently scheduled to begin in-June 1990.
