TEXT OMISSION - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE REQUEST - CONTAINMENT SPHERE LEAKAGE TESTING' Upon initial Staff review of Consumers Power Company's Technical Specification Change Request submittal dated May 25, 1989 concerning containment sphere leak testing, it was identified that an inadvertent textual error had been made.
This information was conveyed to Consumer's Power Company by a June 27, 1989 telephone conversation with the Big Rock Point Plant Project Manager.
This letter requests that the word "within" be added in paragraph 3.7(f) of the proposed technical specification change request as identified in the attached copy of the revised page.
Consumers Power Company is still planning on implementing these improvements in the 1989_ integrated Leak Rate Test and appreciates the Staff's efforts to issue an Amendment by. July 21, 1989.
