W. G. Counsil letter TXX-88764 to NRC dated October 31, 1988 Gentlemen:
In Reference (1), TU Electric provided its plant specific response describing the CPSES.ATWS Hitigation System Actuation Circuitry (AMSAC) which meets the requirements of 10CFR50.62 paragraph (c)(1).
Reference (2) provided a revised implementation schedule of June 1989. The purpose of this letter is to update the CPSES implementation of AMSAC.
Final implementation of AMSAC is incomplete.
Due to a delay in the receipt of equipment parts, the installation of AHSAC has been delayed.
Final implementation will be prior to Unit I fuel load for Unit 1.
Applicable procedures will be developed prior to the initiation of the associated activity. The schedule for Unit 2 remains unchanged.
Sincerely, Yhath
