Subject: NRC Region I Inspection Report.No. 50-271/89-06

A routine radiological safety inspection was conducted by Mr. R. Loesch of this
office on April 3-7,1989, at Vermont . Yankee Nuclear Power Station, Vernon,
Vermont. The inspection consisted of a review of the new Low Level Radwaste
Storage Pad and a review of the qualifications of the newly appointed Radiation
Protection Supervisor.
Findings were discussed by Mr. Loesch with Mr. J.
Pelletier'of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified.
