' Your letter to. Mr. Callan on ' July.18,1989 (W3A89-0028); informed us that conducting licensed operator requalification examinations during the week of September 11, 1989, would conflict with an INPO evaluation during that timeframe and would therefore,'be burdensome.
We had already chang'ed the req' qualification examinations to the week of September 5,1989; this was done.at the request of your training staff in i
early June. :ThisL was done even though the September 11 date had been agreed i
to by your staff'since January of this year and changing the schedule required
- significant rescheduling of.our resources.t Nhile NRC attempts'to avoid scheduling inspections during INP0 evaluations.
~1n this case-we moved the previously' scheduled requalification examinations to accommodate a new.INP0 schedule which was issued in May 1989.
