Areas examined during the inspection included licensee. action on. previously
identified inspection- findings, operational safety verification, monthly .
i
surveillance observation, monthly maintenance observation, and core' safety:
' limit. Within these areas, the inspection consisted'offselective examination-
of. procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and
observations .byL the, inspectors. The inspection findings are documented in the
'
enclosed inspection report.
During this inspection, it was-found that certain of your activities were'in
violation of.NRC requirements. Since corrective action.was promptly
11nitiated, completed, and verified by the NRC inspector l prior to the
- completion-of this' inspection,; no written. response is necessary.
We have also ' xamined actions you have taken with regard to previouslyL
e
identified inspection findings. The status of these items-is identified'in
< paragraph.2 of the enclosed report.
The response directed by this letter and the' accompanying Notice is not subject
to the clearance procedures of the Office of Management and. Budget as required
by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
