Gentlemen:
This refers to the Enforcement Conference conducted by Mr. C. J. Paperiello
and other members of the NRC Staff on June 14, 1989, at the Region III Office
in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, regarding(the apparent violations identified in NRC
Inspection Report No. 50-461/89014 DRP) of activities at the Clinton Power
Station, authorized by NRC Operating License No. NPF-62 and to the discussion
of our findings with Mr. J. S. Perry and other members of your staff.
The enclosed copy of our report identifies those matters discussed during
the conference.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document
Room.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning the Enforcement
Conference.
