.g< r ' -b 1 -{ I -. Hon.thly Report for Braidwood Unit.1 A. Summary of Ooeratina Exoerience The unit entered the month at approximately 85% power. On May 5, 1989, a Feedwater Pump : rip required a-load reduction to approximately 50%. power. Xenon transient associated with the power reduction forced the unit to remain at this reduced power level until May 8,1989. On May 8,1989, power increased and remained above 80% until May 23, 1989, when a Heater Drain Pump tripped, requiring another power reduction. Again, Xenon transients kept the unit from being returned to higher power, until May 25, 1989. On May 25, 1989, power was increase and remained 80% through the end of the month, i (4957z/3)
