Gentlemen:
VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY NORTH ANNA POWER STATION UNIT 2 i
CHANGE IN DEPORTABILITY lOn March 13, 1989, a four hour report, pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(i), was made for exceeding the Unit 2 containment allowable Type A leakage. Subsequent evaluations have determined this event to be non-reportable, based on closed system piping integrity verification. The minimum pathway leakage, for each affected penetration, was measured and the results subsequently reduce the calculated Type A leakage to within the limits of Technical Specifications 3.6.1.2.
Due to the change in deportability, a thirty day written report is not required. This was discussed with the NRC Operations Center at 1450 hours0.0168 days
0.403 hours
0.0024 weeks
5.51725e-4 months
on April 10,1989.
