We have received your letter dated April 12, 1989, which transmitted the proposed objectives for the August 8-9, 1989 ingestion pathway exercise for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1. We have reviewed your objectives ;
and have received several clarifications from Mr. B. Cope of your staff regarding the simulated participation of Federal acencies and those objectives which will be demonstrated on the first day versus the second day of the exercise. We were also informed of another exercise objective which was inadvertently omitted from the submittal. Based on our review and the discussion with Mr. Cope, we have determined that your proposed exercise objectives are acceptable.
