This refers to the routine safety inspection of your radioactive effluent
controls and waste program conducted by M. A. Austin, J.T. Furia and J.C.Jang of
this office on June 5-7, 1989 of activities authorized by NRC License No.
CPPR-107 for the Limerick Unit 2 facility and to the discussions of our findings
i
held by Messers. J.T. Furia and J.C. Jang with Mr.R. Dubiel and other mem'oers of
your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or deviations were observed.
