(7048)MASTERINSPECTIONPLANNINGSYSTEM(MIPS) TRAINING A.
Purpose:
.To announce training to be conducted for selected regional staff regarding implementation and use of the MIPS.
t B. Discussion:
The new MIPS will be available for implementation this month and we will begin to use it as soon as possible. In support of this, the ED0's office has made arrangements for ARM to visit the regions and train a 1 select group of personnel to be designated as initial users of MIPS. The i goalsfortrainingwillbetoenableDivisionofReactorProjects(DRP) ,
I personnel to access and update MIPS while the other Divisions' personnel will develop the capability to access MIPS infomation, as necessary, to support their program responsibilities. The training is scheduled as follows:
Monday, March 27, 1989 9 - 11 a.m. MIPS Overview, 8th floor conference room 1 - 3:30 p.m. Hands-On Instruction, Computers Tuesday, March 28, 1989 i 9 - 11 a.m. Additional Instruction as Required C. Action:
Attendance at the first session Monday morning is encouraged for all regional technical staff involved in the operating power reactor i inspection program. The following personnel have been identified as initial users and should plan to participate in each of the sessions as necessary to achieve the training goals:
