With your application dated March 21, 1989, you remitted a check for
$150. This application was for a Technical Specification change regarding Control Room HVAC operable criteria for the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit No. 3.
The enclosed. revisions to 10 CFR 170 that became effective on January 30, 1989,. deleted the requirement for a $150 application fee for reactor applications and topical reports.
Therefore, a $150 check does not need to be remitted with future-applications.
As an administrative convenience, we are not refunding the $150 to you.
Instead we will give credit for it when an invoice is issued for review of that. application. Let.us know if this is not acceptable to you.
