SAFETY SYSTEM FUNCTIONAL INSPECTION (SSFI) AT.
- ATCH FACILITY This ' letter is to inform you that a Safety System Functional Inspection-(SSFI) willL be conducted by 'a. Region II inspection team at the Hatch facility on May 25-19, and June 5-9, 1989,- and a possible final week of June 19-23,-1989.
The inspection effort 'will focus on the emergency diesel generator (EDG) system'in various operational modes.
The objective of this inspection is to assess the operational readiness of the EDG to meet its intended function under Lall postulated conditions. The' team leader will be.Mr. Frank Jape.
~ This, information was discussed between Mr. Jape, Mr. Sinkule and Mr. Nix on April 12,E1989.. During the - teleconference,.we identified material which..we
