RESPONSE TO A NOTICE OF VIOLATION We have received your response to our March 3,1987 Notice of Violation for failure to classify an unusual event on December 30, 1986.
In addition, we have received EPM-34, dated June 17, 1987 which contained the revisions to AP-501 referred to in your response.
Based upon our review of both documents, it appears that improvements in the i
capability to arrive at quick and correct classification had been l
accomplished. However, as stated in your March 3, 1987 reply, communication between security and plant management appears to be a contributing cause for I
not classifying the December 30, 1986 event. Please provide us with a 1
description of any actions that have been taken by Security to enhance the communication between them and plant management so that plant operations is fully informed and can properly classify a security event under the emergency plan.
