This documents a management meeting with GSU on April 7,1989, in the NRC Region IV office. The meeting was held in response to our request to discuss the River Bend Station service water system corrosion control, inspection, and corrective actions programs.
The topics covered during your presentation are described in the enclosed meeting summary.
It is our opinion that the meeting was beneficial and has provided a better understanding of your service water and fire protection system corrosion control programs including your planned actions relating to determining operability of the systems, prior to resumption of operation, following the present refueling outage.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2 Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
