Gentlemen:
By letter dated October 24, 1984, as supplemented by letters dated February 27,1985, July 8,1985, and March 17, 1987, Carolina Power & Light Company requested a change to the Technical Specification requirements for the primary containment air locks of the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Unis 1 and 2.
Based on a recent request by the NRR Project Manager, we have reviewed the proposed change to ensure the Technical Specification pages being revised incorporate amendments issued since the original request and associated supplements were submitted. Our review has determined that Bases page B 3/4 6-1 for both units should be updated to incorporate the issuance of Amendments 116 (Unit 1) and 144 (Unit 2) dated April 19, 1988.
In addition to incorporating this amendments, the word processing tracking code has been removed from the upper right-hand corner of each proposed page.
The revised Technical Specification pages are enclosed.
