Acting on your appeal, I have carefully reviewed the record in this case and _
have determined that portions of document two and documents three and four listed .I on the enclosed appendix which were previously withheld will continue to be i withheld of the F0IA from public 552(b)(6),

pursuant and to (7)Exemp(D)) and 10 CFR 9.17(a)(6),tions (7)(iii), and (7)(iv) of the Commission's regulations. .Your appeal is, therefore, partially denied.
Information continued to be withheld pursuant to Exemptions (6) .and (7)(C) consists of evaluations of performance and other personnel records. I am unable to identify any legitimate public interest in the release of i.his information which outweighs the privacy interests of the individuals.
Information continued to be withheld pursuant to Exemption (7)(D) consists of the names and other identifying information of confidential sources. I am.
unable to identify any legitimate public interest in the release of this information. 1 Document one and portions of document two listed on the enclosed appendix con- ,
tain information which has been referred to the General Electric Corporation for {
review in order to help NRC determine if the information should continue to be i withheld. We will communicate with you further concerning our determination on those documents. ;
