A routine unannounced radiological safety inspection was conducted at the Yankee
Nuclear Power Statio<i on May 24-26, 1989. The inspection consisted of a review
of previous NRC inspection ' findings, changes in the Radiation Protection
program, and ALARA. The findings of the inspection were discussed with Mr.
Mellor and other members of your staff on May 26, 1989.
Within the scope of this inspection no violations were identified. No reply to
this letter is required. Your cooperation with us is appreciated.
