Enclosed is Georgia Power Company's letter of January 12, 1987 responding

to Inspection Report 50-424/86-91.
GPC's response indicctes that scme actions are either pending or still
being censidered.
We would appri.ciate you making the appropriate followup,
ar.d hiievu that any onsite followup can be a limited effort in conjunction
with the routine inspection program.
In order that we moy treck licensee actions related to the special fitness for
duty inspection, please keep us informed of the licensee's followup actions.
Later this year we would appreciate a written summary of the licensee's
followup actiers.
The summary will serve as one elen,snt in the evaluation
of the effectiveness of industry initiatives to improve licensee fitness
for duty progranis.
