.. Steam Generator. Power Operated Relief Valves (PORVs). This change supersedes.
/the proposed Technical Specification and Bases in my letter dated ~ August 24,

41988.'JHowever,.the No Significant Bazards-Analysis referenced;in my August 24, I:
1988 letter submitted by letters of December 4.-1987 and December 11,- 1987 l.
remains. valid. Also, the FSAR analysis submitted with my August:24,.-1988 letter remains unchanged.
The changes to the proposed Technical Specification for.the PORVs submitted'on August 24, 1988 are to reduce the allowed outage times..This will' maintain-Catawba's Technical Specifications consistent with the industry.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91 (b) (1) the appropriate South' Carolina State Official-'
