This letter refers to the routine safety inspection conducted.by Mr. R. A. McBrearty.
of this office on March 6-10, 1989 at the Limerick Generating Station, Unit l'
in Sanatoga, Pennsylvania. Mr. McBrearty discussed the results of the inspection
with Mr. M. T. McCormick Jr. of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
- This inspection. focused on' inservice inspection activities as. described in the
NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these
areas,'the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
