In response to the NRC's January 25, 1989 request for a consolidated application, Babcock and Wilcox stated that the-original SAR was developed by another company and'in_ lieu of a consolidated application they enclosed the previously submitted and approved-descriptions and test data for the packages. The materials provided do not constitute a consolidated application as requested. The Certificate of Compliance'is being renewed for one year to give Babcock and Wilcox time to prepare a. consolidated application.
