In response to your application dated March 28, 1989, enclosed is Certificate of Compliance No. 9191, Revision No. 2, for the Model Nos. ORNL Unirradiated Fuel Shipping Container and BNL Unirradiated Fuel Shipping Container. This certificate supersedes, in its entirety, Certificate of Compliance No. 9191, Revision No. 1, dated February 17, 1988.
Changes made to the enclosed certificate are indicated by a vertical line in the-margin. Please note that the certificate has been renewed for one year.
If you desire continued use of the packages after the one year period, we will need a separate consolidated application for each package design by May 31, 1990. Pre-ferably, the consolidated applications should be in the format of Regulatory Guide 7.9.
Those on the attached list have been registered as users of this package under the general license provisions of 10 CFR 671.12 or 49 CFR 6173.471.
This approval constitutes authority to use this package for the shipment of radioactive material and for the package to be shipped in accordance with the provisions of 49 CFR 6173.471.
