ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT N0. 7 TO FACILITY LICENSE NO. R-114 CONVERSION OF LICENSE TO POSSESSION-ONLY STATUS j
'The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 7'to Facility License No.:
P-fi4 for the Michigan State University TRIGA Reactor facility. The amendment,
> th authorizes possession, but not operation, of_ the reactor facility, has j
been issued in response to the applications for " possession-only" dated j
December 1,1988 and supplemented on December 14, 1988..The license conditions have been changed to reflect a " possession-only" status with no special nuclear material on site. The Technical Specifications-have been revised to make the surveillance requirements commensurate with the status of the facility, and a physical security e emergency plan is no longer required.
